Artist Care - an assembly for active listeners

Tamari Chikvaidze is a Georgian artist living in Hamburg. She studied art history and restoration in Tbilisi while gaining practical experience. Her work combines restoration, costume and prop design, and handmade accessories. She is currently developing the ‘Intro Programme’ at the Fundus Theatre in the area of costume and props.

Tamari Chikvaidze ist eine georgische Künstlerin und lebt in Hamburg. Sie studierte Kunstgeschichte und Restaurierung in Tiflis und sammelte parallel praktische Erfahrungen. Ihre Arbeit vereint Restaurierung, Kostüm- und Requisitenarbeit sowie handgefertigte Accessoires. Aktuell entwickelt sie das „Intro-Programm“ am Fundus Theater im Bereich Kostüm und Requisite.

Dan Daw is the Artistic Director of Dan Daw Creative Projects. Dan Daw Creative Projects is a disabled-led company which is leading the way in creating accessible international touring work that blurs the lines between theatre, dance and activism. Dan Daw has presented his work at British Dance Edition (UK), Swedish Performing Arts Biennale (Sweden), Sydney Festival, Sydney World Pride, Rising Festival and APAM (Australia), Kampnagel, Sophiensaele and Radikal Jung (Germany), Trafo (Hungary), Auawirleben Theatre Festival (Switzerland), Teatro Municipal do Porto and Culturgest (Portugal), Onassis Stegi (Greece), Performance Space New York (USA).

Dan Daw ist künstlerischer Leiter von Dan Daw Creative Projects. Dan Daw Creative Projects ist eine von Menschen mit Behinderung geführte Company, die eine Vorreiterrolle bei der Schaffung barrierefreier internationaler Tournee-Produktionen einnimmt, welche die Grenzen zwischen Theater, Tanz und Aktivismus verwischen. With an interdisciplinary background, Raksak Kongseng (she/they) straddles two worlds – the world of theatre and the world of business management. She currently serves as Lead of Grantmaking and Global Programs at Theatre Communications Group (TCG) in New York City and is a staff member of the US Center of the International Theatre Institute (ITI US). She is also the founder and Executive Director of the Thai Theatre Foundation (TTF). Raksak enjoys theatre, Thai poetry, politics, and, of course, Thai food!

Mit ihrem interdisziplinären Hintergrund bewegt sich Raksak Kongseng (she/they) zwischen zwei Welten – der Welt des Theaters und der Welt der Unternehmensführung. Derzeit ist sie Leiterin der Abteilung für Fördermittelvergabe und globale Programme bei der Theatre Communications Group (TCG) in New York City und Mitarbeiterin des US-Zentrums des International Theatre Institute (ITI US). Außerdem ist sie Gründerin und Geschäftsführerin der Thai Theatre Foundation (TTF). Raksak liebt Theater, thailändische Poesie, Politik und natürlich thailändisches Essen!

Borisav Matić is a theatre critic, cultural journalist and dramaturg from Serbia. His writing regularly appears in a range of publications and media outlets. In 2023 and 2024, he co-edited MANEK, Serbia’s only magazine dedicated to the independent cultural scene. As a member of the feminist collective Rebel Readers, he engages in various forms of literary criticism and activism. He served as co-curator of the 59th BITEF, Belgrade International Theatre Festival, which was canceled after the Board censored the artistic programme for the first time in the institution’s history. He was also part of the programming and organizing team behind ne:BITEF 2025, a guerrilla festival created as an act of resistance and a space of freedom.

Borisav Matić ist Theaterkritiker, Kulturjournalist und Dramaturg aus Serbien. Seine Texte erscheinen regelmäßig in zahlreichen Publikationen und Medien. In den Jahren 2023 und 2024 war er Mitherausgeber von MANEK, Serbiens einzigem der freien Kulturszene gewidmeten Magazin. Als Mitglied des feministischen Kollektivs Rebel Readers engagiert er sich in verschiedenen Formen literarischer Kritik und Aktivismus. Er war Ko-Kurator der 59. BITEF, des Internationalen Belgrader Theaterfestival, das abgesagt wurde, nachdem der Vorstand erstmals in der Geschichte der Institution das künstlerische Programm zensiert hatte. Zudem war er Teil des Programm- und Organisationsteams von ne:BITEF 2025, einem Guerilla-Festival, das als Akt des Widerstands und als Raum der Freiheit geschaffen wurde.

Filip Pawlak is theatre maker, self-advocate for artists with disabilities, independent curator and producer. He graduated at the Film School in Katowice and Malmö Theatre Academy/Lund University. Since 2025 he is PhD student in art at the Krzysztof Kieślowski Film School at the University of Silesia and is involved in the international project “Europe Beyond Access” as an ambassador and expert. In 2024 he was a scholarship holder of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage in the „Young Poland“ programme. Currently he is working as Head Producer in Warsaw Pavilion of Dance and Other Performing Arts – the first stage fully dedicated to dance art in polish capitol.

Filip Pawlak ist Theatermacher, Vertreter für Künstler mit Behinderungen, unabhängiger Kurator und Produzent. Er absolvierte die Filmhochschule in Katowice und die Malmö Theatre Academy/Lund University. Seit 2025 ist er Doktorand im Fach Kunst an der Krzysztof-Kieślowski-Filmhochschule der Universität Schlesien und als Botschafter und Experte am internationalen Projekt „Europe Beyond Access” beteiligt. Im Jahr 2024 war er Stipendiat des Ministers für Kultur und nationales Erbe im Rahmen des Programms „Young Poland”. Derzeit arbeitet er als Chefproduzent im Warschauer Pavillon für Tanz und andere darstellende Künste – der ersten Bühne in der polnischen Hauptstadt, die sich ausschließlich der Tanzkunst widmet.

Dr. Sibylle Peters is a performance artist and researcher based in Hamburg. She is founder and director of Theatre of Research – FUNDUS THEATER / Forschungstheater in Hamburg, a theatre for young audiences. She was co-founder and director of the PhD programs Assemblies & Participation and Performing Citizenship and has been guest professor for transdisciplinary design at HETEROTOPIA / Folkwang University of the Arts. Her artistic focus is on the art of assembly, human and non human relationships, intergenerational performance, social intimacy, heteropian zones and feminist seafaring.

Dr. Sibylle Peters ist Performancekünstlerin und Forscherin mit Sitz in Hamburg. Sie ist Gründerin und Leiterin des Theatre of Research – FUNDUS THEATER / Forschungstheater in Hamburg, eines Theaters für junges Publikum. Zudem war sie Mitbegründerin und Leiterin der Promotionsprogramme Assemblies & Participation sowie Performing Citizenship und Gastprofessorin für transdisziplinäres Design am HETEROTOPIA / Folkwang Universität der Künste. Ihr künstlerischer Schwerpunkt liegt auf der Kunst der Versammlung, auf Beziehungen zwischen menschlichen und nicht-menschlichen Akteur:innen, auf intergenerationeller Performance, sozialer Intimität, heterotopischen Zonen sowie auf feministischem Seefahren.

Agata Tomšič is a artistic director, dramaturg, actress and director. She trained with Socìetas, Schaubühne, Odin Teatret, Motus, Living Theatre, Teatro Valdoca, Fanny & Alexander, Anagoor and obtained her Master’s degree in Performing Arts at the University of Bologna, continuing to publish essays, editing books, curating and participating international conferences. In 2010 she co-founded the theatre group ErosAntEros, producing multidisciplinary politically engaged performances with major European theaters and festivals. Since 2018 she codirects POLIS Teatro Festival in Ravenna, increasingly affirming her role of artistic director and manager within international projects and networks.

Agata Tomšič ist künstlerische Leiterin, Dramaturgin, Schauspielerin und Regisseurin. Sie arbeitete u. a. mit Socìetas, der Schaubühne, Odin Teatret, Motus, Living Theatre, Teatro Valdoca, Fanny & Alexander und Anagoor. Sie erwarb ihren Masterabschluss in Performing Arts an der Universität Bologna und veröffentlicht weiterhin Essays, gibt Bücher heraus, kuratiert und nimmt an internationalen Konferenzen teil. 2010 gründete sie mit anderen die Theatergruppe ErosAntEros, die multidisziplinäre, politisch engagierte Produktionen mit großen europäischen Theatern und Festivals realisiert. Seit 2018 ist sie Ko-Leiterin des POLIS Teatro Festival in Ravenna und festigt zunehmend ihre Rolle als künstlerische Leiterin und Managerin in internationalen Projekten und Netzwerken.
